CHICAGO, Ill. -- President-elect Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, will sit down with Barbara Walters for a one-hour special on ABC, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The interview, which airs Wednesday night at 10 PM EST/PST, marks the second primetime interview for the Obamas, following their "60 Minutes" sitdown last week.

Walters will interview the President-elect and future First Lady in Chicago, and parts of the interview will also air on "Good Morning America," "World News Tonight" and "Nightline."

The interview will cover the Obama family's transition into the White House, as well as economy and foreign policy topics, according to ABC. It also comes on the heels of Obama naming his financial advisers, which is likely to be addressed as well.

The one-hour special comes on the same night Walters' former "View" co-host, Rosie O'Donnell, debuts her new variety show on NBC. However, "Rosie Live" will not go up against the Obamas directly, as "Rosie Live" airs at 8 PM EST/PST on NBC.

Oh like now the President's kids are supposed to go to an unprotected public school just to prove he's down with the people. Please, with the hate in the world would you subject your kids to that because you took a high profile job. And where did the past presidents children go? Yeah....anyway.

of course they didn't pick couric after they saw her skin palin alive! gee, maybe she'll ask them about enrolling their kids at that posh, pricey private school, after obama spewed how he can relate 2 the lower classes?? nope, no trashy D.C public schools 4 them. bet all tough questions are off-limits.

Too bad Walters is doing the interview! Couldn't they find a real journalist? If I were the Obamas I'd be insulted! Expect nothing of substance from this has-been crone. Strictly soft as marshmallow questions from someone who throws like an old woman. OMG! Babara Walters? What were they thinking?

I'm so looking forward to the Obama's interview with Barbara Walters. They're such a fine example of two people who are smart, educated, and taking good care of their two children. I think they will be remarkable as the First Family of our country. They will be fantastic role models for us all.
