Forget Britney and Paris.

Jennifer Garner wants a spot in John McCain's next ad.

Speaking at a Barack Obama fundraiser in Miami on Saturday, she joked: "I'm here to audition for the next John McCain TV commercial."

(McCain ignited controversy last week by airing a clip that compared Obama to celebs like Spears and Hilton.)

See Barack Obama's "Just Like Us" photos.

Clad in a black satin dress, Garner showed off a bigger bump at the $1,000-per-person reception, which she attended with husband Ben Affleck and Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana, who are expecting a baby girl.

While their husbands yapped about their love for Obama, the wives dutifully listened on.

"All of us are here because we just want Barack," a passionate Affleck told the crowd. "We believe in what he wants to do: Ending the war in Iraq, universal health care.

"The extraordinary thing about Barack Obama is that he understands there is no limit to what the American people can do," Affleck said, adding that Obama inspires "people across the country to do a little more."

He went on: "We've seen something much more extraordinary than what you'd see in a regular presidential campaign."

Affleck then introduced longtime pal Damon, whom he also called "extraordinary."

"We could go issue by issue there's so many reasons he inspires me," Damon said of Obama.

After his speech Damon told Usmagazine.com he was "working on Barack Obama's campaign because I don't like the way the country is going.

"I want to see Obama win. I liked a lot of the Democratic candidates, but always preferred Obama because of his position on Iraq," he said.

So would Damon make a good vice president?

Laughing, he told Us, "That would be a definite loser ticket!"

i think that it is ashame that people in general think that it is ok to talk bad about other people. politics has been reduced to bashing the other person and think that is absolutely stupid. i don't think that people bashing makes you look and better it actually makes you look like an idot. i lose all respect for people and celebrities who think that making people look bad is a good thing

I used to think Ben Afflect was so awesome. Now that I know what a moron he really is, I'll move on to someone else. He has no idea what universal healthcare is even about, especially not that it could end the lives of a lot of people. But we'll just let him wallow in his obvious ignorance. Dumb dolt! Jennifer, too.

To Stephanie P: Just becasue people can still go out to eat, buy houses & cars that does not mean the economy is not bad sweetie!!! It means that some of us just make a lot more money than others; however, thinking like this tells me you are a true Republican. Go for what you know. Lifes a B%$*H and then you die. I'm happy I make enough not to worry about it either way!

Do some research Republican haters....when Clinton was president the unemployment rate was the same as now and the economy no worse. Besides the economy can't be so bad if people still go out to dinner, buy cars and houses, take vacations etc......

I think that Obama sucks, I think that Democrats are idiots , abortion is wrong, and we need to do more to protect the animals...you need to pay more attention to who will be VP though because people have already been trying to plan assassinating Obama, anyone see the news about the FL man? I think we will all die if Obama becomes President.
