Jessica Alba will not face any criminal charges for plastering shark posters on Oklahoma City property on behalf of a conservation group.

Check out photos of stars in court.

"The decision has been made to close the case," Police Sgt. Gary Knight said in a statement. "The case will not be presented to the district attorney's office."

Police decided not to pursue a vandalism case because none of the property owners wanted to press charges against the actress, who has apologized.

"I got involved in something I should have had no part of," Alba said in a statement last week. "I realize that I should have used better judgment, and I regret not thinking things through before I made a spontaneous and ill-advised decision to let myself get involved with the people behind this campaign."

Alba, 28, is currently in Oklahoma City filming The Killer Inside Me with Kate Hudson and Casey Affleck.

We should all Call the Community Relations Unit at 405 297-1230. I am sick and tiredof the double standard it needs to end now. Maybe if we use our voice this bs will stop. Nothing against Alba but everytime I see this injustice I am calling and complaining from now on.

She and fellow airhead Megan "Wipe-Out-Middle-America" Fox ought to just stick to what they do best--standing around looking pretty--and not try to "grow a brain" and look like someone of substance and purpose.

Just another case of butt kissing and a double standard for these nitwits. This is disgusting and a deliberate sham on justice.

I had a feeling that she was gonna be let off the hook. WTF!~Anybody else would be sitting in a jail cell right now!~Aside from her "good looks", she really doesn't have anything else to offer, she's got no talent, and doesn't have brain one in her head!~Isn't a good mother either, sets a horrible example for her daughter.

She did the right thing by making a statement about what happened. She is an intelligent and beautiful woman. The only thing is, if she wasn't famous, the charges would never have been dropped and she would have been arrested.

i like Jessica Alba. Sorry but why did she choose oklahoma city to place the posters? With no ocean in site. This is bs if I were a resident in OKC and had a vandelism charge I would lawyer up. Why does she get away with it? Oh yeah she is a celeb the justice system does not apply to her. That what pi$%es me off. This happens all the time.
