PIC: Ashton Kutcher Returns to L.A. Amid Demi's Crisis

PIC: Ashton Kutcher Returns to L.A. Amid Demi's Crisis

    Welcome home, Ashton.

A quiet, subdued Ashton Kutcher was photographed at LAX on Thursday, touching down in Los Angeles after a fun trip to Sao Paulo, Brazil. (X17 was first to reveal the shots.)

    PHOTOS: Inside Demi's troubling slimdown

During his time in South America, the Two and a Half Men star, 33, frolicked in a rainstorm, checked out a sexy fashion show, shot a campaign for Colcci with pregnant model Alessandra Ambrosio and hit a nightclub, his estranged wife Demi Moore was having a decidedly less awesome week.

    PHOTOS: Supportive exes in Hollywood

The 49-year-old actress checked into a hospital Monday after suffering seizures and announced that she was seeking treatment for "exhaustion."

Kutcher, who split from Moore in November after six years of marriage, hasn't yet commented or tweeted about Moore's condition.

PHOTOS: Demi and Ashton in happier times

"He cares a lot for her," a source tells Us Weekly. "He's very concerned and will always support her."

No confirmation yet whether he'll be visiting with Moore as she convalesces.

Demi just needs time then she will be fine. Most of us have been tired and depressed at one time or the other.I'm sure Kutcher cares about her as well as Willis but Demi is the one who has to learn to love herself.

I hope she gets better soon; wish her all the best for her and her kids... Those of you making these harsh hurtful comments towards Demi, must have never been in love before or hurt or humiliated by someone you love. I luckily have not; I have a wonderful caring husband. But my younger sister went through it and it was horrible When her marriage failed my entire family literally took turns spending time with her to not leave her alone because the depression was concerning thanks to our faith and prayers she made it through and is back to normal if not better. Not everyone reacts to heartbreak the same, no matter what the circumstances. People really need to think before they speak, we don't know their lives for real just we read.

everyone is so busy trashing ashton. stop and think, maybe, just maybe they split because of her insecurities about herself, her needines, and probably some of the same reasons she split from bruce. maybe it's her and not the many men she's been involved with. think about that!

You know, they were with together for 7 yrs, of course he should be concerned, I see nothing wrong with him going to see her, everyone says an ex is ex, but im sure he still cares. No body wants to see someone they loved be hurt. Not like some of u cold hearted comments.

Why is everyone bashing Ashton for being in Brazil when this all went down. He was on business and how is he suppose to know while he is away Demi is going to try some drugs and get sick? It is not his fault that she did what she did. Sure they broke up but nobody can make you feel the way you do, you do it to yourself. I'm sure he still cares for Demi just can't live with her. How do we know that's not why they broke up? This isn't the first time she's done this to herself.

Women cannot win. Either their husband is their age and go through a mid life crisis and want a younger girlfriend or they marry a younger man and then he gets tired of her and starts looking for girls his own age or younger. You cannot win with men. That is why you have to believe in yourself, be strong and independent and live your life.

I'm so tired of celebrities who have it all and just cannot be happy! Then they feed off the sympathy of everyone else. I do not feel sorry for her. She's a grown woman with children! She's doing drugs. No matter if they are prescription drugs or not they are drugs! I don't suppose the dr. prescribed the thing she smoked. Demi's biggest problem is that she can't grow old gracefully. She still wants to be the pin-up girl! Well don't we all! Please Demi get your "big girl" panties on and grow up.

love knows no age. it's very hard for ANYONE to be in love and be a regular person much less a celebrity. they were NOT the only couple on the face of this earth that is older than the other. they just happened to be in the lime light. that's what went wrong. dont gossip!!!! it makes for bad karma!!!!

This is the same old, same old thing that seems to be a way of life with a lot of the folks in the film industry. They abuse their bodies and minds and the paparazzi goes ape.

People start asking where is Bruce during all this. This has nothing to do with Bruce but with her demons. She is a beautifull woman and to do what she did just prooves rich or poor no one is amune to what life thows us, except the way we handle it....

Alcoholic parents, low self-esteem, horrific upbringing...let me see, par for course don't you think? As someone just recently commented, she now needs to do "her" work, to get it together. How many of us feel like she recently expressed in a magazine article, "the fear of being unlovable and then believing that is the case when one is left again." It can take awhile to "get it" but once the light bulb is turned on you change and realize that (and I hate sounded symplistic-took me till 58 to get this) the old true adage is we must "love ourselves" even if you have to pretend for awhile. In the end it is just you and if you are fortunate to have family and friends you are blessed. God be with you Demi...I know how hard you have tried to find love and be loved! Many women get caught up in the "Cinderalla Story."
