Pete Wentz hopes his wife
Ashlee Simpson -Wentz gets to be a diva on
Melrose Place.
"I'm excited to watch. She's a good actor," Pete told Usmagazine.com at the Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday. "I think it will be awesome. I told her that I hope she gets to play the bitch."
Ashlee, 24, and Pete, 29, didn't grow up watching the primetime drama, which went off the air in 1999.

No matter: Pete says the spinoff, due to premiere in this fall on the CW, will be different than the original.
"I think they are revamping it," he said. "They are not ignoring [the past], but it's getting a new look, a makeover."
