Actor Penn Badgley has a message for shockingly slim Beverly Hills, 90210 stars Jessica Stroup and Shenae Grimes:

"I hope they eat a double cheeseburger or something," the Gossip Girl actor told PopEater.com

He added that he's "never been a proponent of the thin L.A. girls."

Badgley revealed he thinks it's "healthy" that his female cast mates "aren't bone-thin."

Meanwhile, Stroup and Shenae's male costars on 90210 are contemplating an intervention.

"They just don't eat, and the hours of that show are going to get to them if they don't get healthy," a show source told Us.

Stroup, is 5-foot-8 but weighs 100 to 105 pounds while Grimes, is 5-foot-3 and stands at a mere 90 pounds, Beverly Hills-based weight-management expert Dr. Joyce Peters estimated to Us.

Lets not forget US Weekly probably messes with the pictures to makes them appear grossly thin. And for those wanting to say what they should and shouldn't look like. According to the BMI charts, Shanae should weigh 101 pounds, medical recommendation of 101-147 for 5-3, 19 year old female. And for Jessica, 118 is the ideal weight, medical recommendation of 125-164 for a 5-8, 21 year old

I really think that the US has made girls really feel insecure about themselves by judging on them being to thin or to fat. What is wrong with our society? I'm 5'6 and 103lbs but, I eat more than an average person and guarantee I don't have a eating disorder. Its called a high metabolism. Why doesn't everyone focus on peace and lay off of looks with size and realize

Thin is good but not THAT thin. That's what everyone's forgetting. I'm 4'11'' and 105 - 107 pounds and I'm small. As in thin and obviously short..

It's hard to tell. Some pictures make them look healthy and others make them look anorexic. The taller girl is def. underweight either way though. That's abnormally skinny. I went through a phase like that before where I lost a lot of weight but I look a lot better with the curves back. She would too. The shorter girl could maybe use 5 - 10 pounds but she doesn't look as b

The 5'8" girl at 100 lbs is way too thin, the other at 5'3' at 90 is ok. It is the tall girl that is severly underweight, she would be thin at 125lbs. I know, I am 5ft 8 in and at 127 lbs wear a size 7 to a 9 and pictures of me I am thin. At least I have breasts, a 34D. What does the miss orange dress in the picture have, nothing!

The girl in the orange dress, her legs look like there is no thigh muscle left, it is sunk in. Muscle will EAT itself, these girls will wind up in the hospital.

one thing i can say, give those girls real food. like steak and fries. bacon too. they'll get bloated in a couple of weeks. its really not cool to be that thin. they should go to the gym and put some layer of muscles on that skin and bones. imagine sleeping with one of those girls and you'll see the difference. hahahaha!!!!

I think that because fat is the new normal that smaller boned women are picked on. So women have the genetics to be thin. Put one of these girls in a bathing suit and you will not see the ripples of fat like the average overweight women.
