Paula Abdul is going from judge to host.

The former American Idol judge announced on her Twitter page Monday night that she'll be anchoring VH1 Divas next month.

"Hi guys! im really excited 2 announce ill b hosting this year's "Vh1 Divas"! The show will be live on Sept 17th @ 9 pm EST," Paula Tweeted.

"This year's VH1 Divas show will honor Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Jordin Sparks, Leona Lewis and Miley Cyrus- I am so excited!!" Paula continued.

The show will air live from the Brooklyn Academy of Music Howard Gilman Opera House in New York.

It was announced Monday that Abdul will no longer be playing a temp on Ugly Betty this season.

Former 3rd Rock From the Sun star Kristen Johnston will take her space on the show's Oct. 9 premiere.

"I've always considered myself a poor man's Paula Abdul," Johnston joked to Entertainment Weekly.

    I honestly do not think that she should host anything. She can barely judge anything without having some type of problem. I just think that she is kind of a good person but she is a little creepy!!!
