The stars came out in droves last night for the 85th Annual Academy Awards. Although there was plenty to talk about from inside the show, the one thing that is always at the top of the conversation list is fashion! Which celebrities dressed the best at this year's Oscars ceremony?
It's rare to see Reese Witherspoon looking anything other than spectacular, and the Oscars was no exception. She is a true beauty, and she showed off her great figure in a deep blue Louis Vuitton gown. It was impossible to tell that she gave birth just five months ago! She kept her look simple, and it worked perfectly.
There was some controversy on social media last night over Seth McFarlane's "inappropriate" song about Hollywood actresses and their boobies, and a camera pan showed Theron looking less than impressed by his words. Eagle-eyed viewers will have noticed that the image in question was not taken on the night, because Charlize was wearing this gorgeous white number instead! It's fair to say McFarlane's song didn't overshadow how beautiful the "Monster" star looked as she walked the red carpet.
Zoe Saldana looked radiant in her Alex Mabille Couture dress! Fashion experts may be right in suggesting there were a few too any embellishments on her gown, however, she made it work. The removal of the belt would have improved the look, but she pulled it off brilliantly.
The Destiny's Child star showed off her long legs in a beautiful black and white dress with a thigh-high split. Absolutely everything was right about Rowland's outfit choice, from the dress itself, to the shoes and understated accessories. Maybe next year she should consider styling other stars for the show!
Since her appearance on "Dancing With The Stars," Maria Menounos' career has blossomed, and that is also true of her sense of fashion. Elegant is the only way to describe her Oscars style! Her hot pink dress was beautifully complemented by simple white beads around her neck and her wrist. A real stunner!
