Michelle Williams just received her third Academy Award nomination this morning for her portrayal of icon Marilyn Monroe in "My Week With Marilyn," a story based on the journal of Sir Lawrence Olivier's assistant during the filming of the comedy, "The Prince and The Showgirl."
Monroe's breathy voice, sultry moves, and child-like vulnerability has been adapted for the screen in several different stories based on her life. Actresses have been excited to portray the former movie star's iconic look and mannerisms in photo shoots, movies, and music videos.
