    Oscar Buzz for Sandra Bullock's New Movie "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" - Her Best Red Carpet Looks Yet!

    Sandra Bullock is comfortable in her own skin.

    Sandra Bullock was nowhere to be seen on at the 2012 Golden Globes in Hollywood but that's okay. The legendary actress is busy promoting her new movie "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" that has Oscar buzz written all over her performance.

    In the movie that released nationwide this week Sandra plays Linda, the mother of a son who tries to find the matching lock to the key left behind by his father who passed during 9-11. Sandra shines in her new role. Let's take a look at her top red carpet looks.

    "Extremely Loud and Incredible Close" Premiere, 2011

    At the NYC premiere in December 2011 Sandra rocked a black Alexander McQueen pant suit with slick straight hair that really wowed the critics. The star's suit showed off her amazing figure with it's plunging neckline. For being 47, we have to say, Sandra looked about half her age at this premiere!

    Golden Globes, 2011

    At last year's Golden Globes Sandra was pretty in pink when she wore a lovely Jenny Packham dress on the red carpet with Jimmy Choo shoes. The dress's soft pink color gave Sandra an extra glow and made her one of the best dressed stars of the night.

    Oscars, 2010

    This shimmering metallic Marchesa gown is by far one of Sandra's best red carpet looks if not THE best of her career. It was Sandra's big night at the awards for her role in "The Blind Side" and she looked effortlessly gorgeous in this gown. For accessories the star wore simple diamond earrings and a diamond bracelet but it was her amazing smile that really pulled the look together.

    Met Costume Institute Gala, 2007

    In 2007 Sandra showed she's not only an actress but a bit of a fashionista as well. At the Met Gala the star wore a gorgeous red wine colored strapless Alberta Ferretti gown that featured Sandra's toned body. With her hair up the dress really shows off her beautiful bone structure as well as her dewy flawless complexion.

      Even though I am, of course, happy that Sandra Bullock won an Oscar for her work, I quite frankly miss the Sandra Bullock of old--the energetic, vivacious sprite of such films as "Speed" and "While You Were Sleeping" and "The Net" and "Forces of Nature." It was that Sandy that captivated me and forever won my heart. So I say to you, girlfriend, please, please don't abandon being the girl you were in the aforementioned pictures. It's that gal that uplifts me and brightens my life whenever I think of her.

      I saw the movie yesterday. Love Tom Hanks and Sandra, but, they barely make an appearance in this movie. It's all about the kid...a lot of thumbs down.

      I saw this movie yesterday and was disappointed. Sandra Bullock's performance was alright but certainly not oscar worthy. The only oscar worthy performance here was by Thomas Horn. He was incredible. The movie itself was a little dull.

      Sandra Bullock deserves every award there is. She is one of very few great actresses as well as a wonderful person.....
      BUT the acting of Thomas Horn, the young man that played her son, was absolutely incredible in this film. He was definitely the star.

      I feel accomplished. I insulted Jesse James on Twitter about betraying Sandra Bullock, and his only words were "LMB" meaning Lick My Balls. And the next day , I went to go see the new movie-- and was blown away! That should teach him not to take things for granted.

      you go girl. Sandra Bullock is a class A act and she shows it by not bashing her ex, Jerk James at every chance she gets.We know how easy it would be. I think she was just with him to she if she could change him into an acceptable human being you know how some people rescue injured animals or take the runt of the litter. I am usually not so mean but Jerk James has a special place in my heart for being a disgusting pig. oops, did I say that.
