Oprah Winfrey dedicated her talk show Thursday to
Rihanna - and reiterated her
previous message to the 21-year-old singer: "If a man hits you once, he will hit you again."
"I've said before, love doesn't hurt," she said
during a discussion with
Tyra Banks about dating violence.
Banks -- who has interviewed both
Chris Brown and
Rihanna separately on her talk show -- recalled how the two talked to her about their unhappy childhoods.

Rihanna told me that her parents used to argue so intensely and she used to get these headaches, almost migraines ... and it was almost living hell for her," Banks said. "The moment her parents separated, the headaches went away."
Banks also said that Brown witnessed a man abuse his mother. Scarred by the incident, he used to wet the bed, Banks said.
