The oldest child from TLC's 18 Kids and Counting is following in the family tradition.

Josh Duggar, the eldest of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar's brood, announced Monday that he and his wife, Anna Duggar, are expecting their first child in October.

The couple, who has been married since September, announced that Anna is due Oct. 18, the Associated Press reports.

"I am three months right now and feeling great," Anna, 20, said on the Today show Monday. "Morning sickness is pretty much all gone, and so we're looking forward to the birth of our baby."

The baby will be the first grandchild for Michelle and Jim Bob, who made a name for their large family on the 18 Kids and Counting reality show that premiered last year.

Michelle -- who lives with the clan in northwest Arkansas -- most recently gave birth in December, to Jordyn-Grace. In addition to the 4-month-old newborn and Josh, the other siblings include: Jana, 19; John-David, 19; Jill, 17; Jessa, 16; Jinger, 15; Joseph, 14; Josiah, 12; Joy-Anna, 11; Jeremiah, 10; Jedidiah, 10; Jason, 8; James, 7; Justin, 6; Jackson, 4; Johannah, 3; and Jennifer, 2.

Josh, 21, said that he and his wife have yet to pick a name for their baby.

"We're pretty sure we're not going to go with J," he said.

Still, he said he was leaning toward starting a new theme with his future children's names.

But whether his family will reach the size of his parents, he's uncertain.

"We have committed leaving that area up to God as far as our family size," he said.

Michelle and Jim Bob said they are thrilled to become grandparents, although the new baby won't be much older than their youngest daughter.

"I had nieces and nephews that were about the same age as me, and it was great," said Michelle, who was the youngest of seven children. "I just enjoy growing up in a large family. I really think that Jordyn is going to have a lot with her new little friend coming."

The Duggars are an amazing inspiration for any large family. They show that with 18 kids they can keep a handle on their entire family. Some people think they are wierd and strange bc they have 18 kids and i dont think they plan on stoping anytime soon. Everyone thinks the Duggars are wierd but its bc they have a differnet life style than everyone else in this "NORMAL" world has

They creep me out a little bit, but they seem nice enough, so who am I to judge, right? Just as long as I don't have to pay for all those kids...good luck and happiness to them.

Thank God for someone that is as nice, understanding and caring as the Duggars. If having kids was what God had planned for them, then so be it, I don't understand why people have to be so rude and crude. Its all really uncalled for I think. I believe God put them here for a reason maybe to show us something about Love and Caring for one another. I do believe that God has something great p

The Duggars are not "cultish", that's just a prejudiced view of a different lifestyle. There is so much love in that family and the kids are being raised being kind and unselfish. The Duggars pay their own way and their home and home life are in order- they're a breath of fresh air in a tv world of cynicism and anything-goes morality.
