When contacted by Access Hollywood, ABC could not confirm if they had also been approached. Fox told Access they may be airing Game 6 of the World Series.
Reps for CBS and NBC both said they were not aware if Republican candidate John McCain has reached out for an equal opportunity.
This will be the first time a presidential candidate has purchased 30 minutes of prime time TV since Ross Perot in the 1992 election.
