Legendary British designer Vivienne Westwood isn't that fond of Kate Middleton -- and she's not afraid to say it! The 70-year-old fashion maven sat down for an interview with the Times Sunday Magazine and told the reporter just what she thought of the Duchess of York's style.
"Let me put it this way. I t seems to me, that her image is 'ordinary woman.' Therefore, high street shopper. And I just think she should be an extraordinary woman, wherever she gets her clothes from," she said.
Plus, the orange-haired designer isn't too keen on her make-up choices either.
"I think she's got a problem with eye make-up! The sharp line around her eyes makes her look hard. Either she should be smudgy or wear none," Westwood said of Kate's make-up tendencies.
Westwood isn't the only person to criticize the Princess' style and fashion choices.
Everyone loves Kate's decision to recycle her clothes - except former "Dancing With the Stars'" contestant Kelly Osbourne.
"In England they're like, 'Look how thrifty she's being, showing the British public that the Royals are in a recession as well' only in this country they call it a faux pas," The blond said recently.
"I'm sorry, but if I had that job I would only wear it once. If I am going to be the future bloody Queen of England I'm going to wear that dress once because I'm giving up the rest of my life, all of my privacy. At least I can get a new dress every day!"
Model Selita Ebanks is paid to look pretty in clothes and on the runway, but she's not so excited when it comes to other people's fashion.
"I'm really not into it. I wish them well. I know it's going to be gorgeous and fabulous," Ebanks said before the royal wedding. "That's all I know about it. And her ring is amazing. Of course, because it's Princess Diana's. Other than that, it's royalty."
Would you like it if someone said "it's modeling" about your job, Selita?
Comedian Jerry Seinfeld is no fan of the royal way of life - and he's not afraid to say it!
"Yes, I'm very excited," Seinfeld told "Daybreak" hosts before the royal wedding. "Well it's a circus act, it's an absurd act."
Yes, he was being sarcastic.
"You know, it's dress-up. It's a classic English thing of let's play dress-up. Let's pretend that these are special people. OK, we'll all pretend that -- hat's what theater is," he continued.
"That's why the British have the greatest theater in the world. They love to dress up and they love to play pretend. And that's what the royal family is-it's a huge game of pretend. These aren't special people-it's fake outfits, fake phony hats and gowns."
Bitter, party of one? Seems like it.
Which side are you on: Team Kate or Team Vivenne and Kelly Osbourne?
