Nicole Richie Talks Paris, Jail, Mischa & Leaked E-Mails

LOS ANGELES (May 30,2007) Nicole Richie addressed Paris jail fears, Mischa Bartons hospital visit and her own Memorial Day party invitation that was leaked to the media during an interview with KIIS FMs Ryan Seacrest earlier today.

Of course [Paris] is scared, Nicole told Seacrest during an interview to promote the latest season of her reality TV show with the heiress The Simple Life. Richie said she believes her pal has been treated unfairly and she is now even more concerned about her own DUI case from December 2006.

[Paris was treated] really unfair, Richie said. I dont know if she necessarily could have done anything to stop that. I think sometimes people just get exploited and I hope that doesnt happen to me I dont think theres anything I can do to stop that.

During the interview, Seacrest also probed Richie on an email she sent inviting her friends over to her place for a Memorial Day barbecue that was leaked to the public. In the invite, the celebutante suggested her friends come over to drink massive amounts of beer . . . . take shots, pass out and wake up with our pants ripped open at the seems (sic). She also suggested her guests turn up in your sluttiest tops and your tightest pair of jeans, and that people would be weighed at the door.

I do it all the time, Nicole said of the email she dubbed a joke for her friends. I do it for every time, for every single holiday I dont even know what to say about it, especially someone like me, Im not a serious person at all and no one thinks I am, so Im really confused why people think [it is serious].

Mischa Barton attended the event, making headlines this past weekend after being rushed to the hospital from the party. Richie said she was not present at the event when Lindsay Lohan stopped by and when the Barton incident happened.

Well I actually wasnt there, she told Seacrest. I went to Ralphs cause I wanted Sunny Delight so I missed the whole thing . . . [Mischas] alright . . . She mixed antibiotics with alcohol and she got sick.

The Simple Life star also hit out at claims she recently went back to rehab recently.

I think the story started out cause I hadnt been photographed in a few weeks, she sighed. The truth was I was on tour with [boyfriend and Good Charlotte singer] Joel [Madden]. We were in random city after random city.

Before leaving the studio Richie said she hasnt spoken to Lohan, but she wishes the star, who entered rehab on Monday, well.
