Actress Evan Rachel Wood should be enjoying her honeymoon with new husband Jamie Bell, but some bad news has put a dent in their wedded bliss. According to reports, the couple's hotel room was robbed just days after they tied the knot in California on October 30. "Dude! Jamie and I just got robbed," said the actress on Twitter. "Found our hotel room ransacked. We are safe and have everything we need, so all is well." While it's good to hear that the two are okay, there's no doubt that the robbery had to be an unpleasant experience. Still, it looks like the couple is managing to keep their spirits up. That's a good thing because their recent wedding marked a milestone in their long relationship. Here is a look back at some of the key moments in the romance between the two stars.
They met while filming a music video
Despite each having a long list of movie credits, these two actors actually met on the set of a music video. Both stars appeared in the video for the Green Day hit "Wake Me Up When September Ends" in 2005, and they struck up a romance shortly after that. Things got so serious that they got matching tattoos with each other's initials. Of course, the road to the altar was hardly smooth.
They split in 2006
After dating for a year, the couple called it quits in 2006. "We had matching tattoos because we knew our love would last forever," said the actress after the split. "Trouble is, it didn't, things happened, we split. But I don't regret the tattoo. It reminds me of a great, great period in my life." In the years that followed, Evan started dating rocker Marilyn Manson, and was even engaged to him at one point. However, they split for good in 2010, leaving the door open for her reunion with Jamie.
They reunited in 2011
Nearly five years after they first split, the couple began dating again last year. After the rekindled romance started in the summer, things started to move fast, culminating with an engagement in early 2012. It turns out that Evan was right about their love lasting forever, and the two were married in a small ceremony in California. "Words cannot describe the happiness I am feeling. Overwhelming," tweeted Evan after the nuptials.
