Should NeNe Leakes Join ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'?

NeNe Leakes has certainly made her mark in reality television. The loud, abrasive, trash-talking star of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" has become a household name. When fans first met NeNe and her blonde sidekick Kim Zolciak, she was a barrel of laughs. The two evoked the spirit of a modern day "Lucy and Ethel."

The most recent season of the Atlanta "Housewives" was a completely different picture. While Kim was happily ensconced in family life, NeNe came across angry and bitter. She seemed to think that she was too good for the show and supporting cast that made her famous. From shouting "I am very rich" at Sheree Whitfield to scoffing at Kandi Burruss for inviting "twitter people" to her party, NeNe's energy was negative.

One thing that the former Mrs. Leakes can't be accused of is sitting on her laurels. Like her "Real Housewives of New Jersey" sister Teresa Giudice, NeNe is riding the Bravo bandwagon all the way to the branding bank. The Georgia peach is one of the hardest working reality stars in the biz.

First, NeNe branched out with her memorable appearances on Donald Trump's "Celebrity Apprentice." Her scenes were cringe-worthy. When she bullied Latoya Jackson NeNe came across as cruel and criminally abusive. She ended up quitting the show before she could get fired.

Then, the Leakester moved on as a cast member of hit TV series, "Glee." Her character "Roz" was a great sparring partner for Jane Lynch's "Sue." The rival characters kept fans entertained. Playing a "Mean Girl" is right in NeNe's sweet spot.

Now, NeNe moves on to play another "spunky" character. We're sure that there will be plenty of head shaking and finger pointing on the new NBC series "The New Normal" with NeNe as a regular cast member. With or without her, the trailer looks like the show will be shockingly good.

Now that NeNe is based in Los Angeles, she says that she'd love to join "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." We just don't see it. NeNe hanging with Lisa Vanderpump and Adrienne Maloof? We can't even imagine it. Her castmate Phaedra Parks would be a much better fit. Luckily, Bravo seems to agree and the shows will have no crossover for now.

    So what do you think?

Would you watch NeNe on "RHOBH?" Would she help or hurt the show?

    Are you still Team NeNe?
