Color us shocked! "Black Swan" actress Natalie Portman is known for her dark strands -- like in the photo -- but she stepped out over the weekend with a whole new look. The new mom and her husband Benjamin Millepied attended the opening night performance of the L.A. Dance Project presented by Van Cleef & Arpels, but all anyone could talk about was her hair.
"My mom says I'm like a different person," she gushed The Hollywood Reporter. "I did it just a couple of days ago."
The look is growing on us, though we're hoping she hasn't said goodbye to brown forever. We don't think she has, judging from her past style changes. Moms need some fun, too!

We can't talk about drastic hair changes without talking about Miley Cyrus. The singer and actress first dyed her brown hair a platinum blond color, then followed that up by chopping off her hair a few days later.
"Never felt more me in my whole life," she tweeted, along with a picture of the shorn 'do. "Bliss... feeling so happy in my skin... feel so happy, pretty, and free."
Lena Dunham
"Girls" star Lena Dunham decided to follow Cyrus' lead after she finished filming season two of her hit HBO show by chopping off her hair.
"I Miley'd the s**t out of this Saturday," she tweeted on Sept. 8, along with a photo of her pixie cut.
We think this look suits her alt-personality, don't you?
Rihanna
Rihanna has styled her strands in about every way imaginable, but she went to a simpler look earlier this month at the MTV Video Music Awards with short hair.
"We had been talking about going short for a little while now and actually planned to do it the following week, but I just felt like, why wait? Let's do it today!" her stylist told US Weekly in early September. "And Ri said the same thing. She was ready for her short hair again!"
We have to say we prefer the look. It's so simple and we're all about keeping it simple when it comes to hair. We're sure she'll rock a different look soon, though. RiRi changes her look more than most people change their underwear.
