Every actress has one pre-fame genre movie you just know they wish would evaporate.
Jennifer Aniston screamed it up in 1993's Leprechaun, Renee Zellweger was stalked by Matthew McConaughey in 1994's Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation and Angelina Jolie played an "love robot" in1993's Cyborg 2. All terrible. All forgettable. All available for purchase right now.
And now it looks like we can add Community star Alison Brie to that list of embarrassed actresses as JoBlo.com has dug up 2007's Born, a horror movie that truly tested the limits of her professionalism. As in, I can't believe Alison was actually able to deliver some of these horrifically hilarious lines and scenarios with a straight face. And not just a straight face, but deliver actual emotions that are so clearly above the material, it's no surprise she went on to greatness!
According to Born's IMDB synopsis, "Mary Elizabeth (Alison Brie) goes to bed alone one night, still a 21 year old virgin, and wakes up the next morning...pregnant. Possessed by the demon fetus growing within her womb, Mary Elizabeth obeys her homicidal cravings to kill...for the sake of her unborn spawn. Mary Elizabeth's dark transformation, controlled by her unborn demon child, is driven by its dark cravings. Once the child is born there will be hell on earth. From this apparent immaculate conception comes edge of your seat terror." Um ..... sure.
The brilliant boys at JoBlo.com have given birth to a Best (ie: worst) of Born clipreel that highlights the spectacularly silly script, which you can enjoy below! Oh, and that's not all...
