Alert the Volturi!
Edward Cullen and Bella Swan aren't the only "Twilight" characters getting busy… making babies that is.
Jackson Rathbone - Southern charmer Jasper Hale to Twihards - and long-time girlfriend Sheila Hafsadi have welcomed their first child - a boy - together.
Fans (and family no doubt) eagerly anticipated the news following his gender announcement in early March. "I never thought I would twitpic a penis to the twitterverse, but... Here ya go!," he tweeted.
The immortal child (kidding!) was born at 9:43 a.m. Thursday, tipping the scale at 8 lbs. 11 oz., as reported by Us Weekly.
Rathbone confirmed the exciting news later that night, tweeting: "Thank you ALL for the love & support! Sheila & I couldn't be happier to have such a beautiful, healthy baby boy, Monroe Jackson Rathbone VI."
The proud papa has been over the moon since the pregnancy was first announced in February, and posted photos of his father and himself smoking celebratory cigars. "The original (well, the fourth..) Bone Daddy! Monroe Jackson Rathbone IV celebrating the birth of MJR VI," he tweeted. "Feeling so blessed! What an amazing day! Love and respect, Bone Daddy."
The new dad will have just a few days getting to know his little one before getting back on the promotional circuit, as he and his fellow vampires are scheduled to appear at Comic-Con July 12 to take part in a "Breaking Dawn Part 2" panel.
That being said, Baby Monroe won't be the only "Twilight" baby making headlines in the next few months.
With all these "Twilight" babies on the loose, anyone else thinking the Cullens and cast should set up a play date? It could be a kiddie coven for the preschool-going set.
Gigandet and Geisendorff already have 3-year-old daughter Everleigh to bring along, and Billy Burke, who plays Bella's father Charlie, has 4-year-old Bluesy LaRue. Sarah Clarke, who plays Bella's mother Renee, is mother to six-year-old Olwyn and two-year-old Rowan, and then there's Peter Facinelli's three - 15-year-old Luca Bella, 10-year-old Lola, and six-year-old Fiona. The oldest two could definitely oversee the youngest.
It could be fun. Just saying.
