Here's what we know about baby Kimye: She arrived nearly five weeks early and she's reportedly a mini me of her famous mom, Kim Kardashian.
Sadly, we don't know much else! The Kardashian clan is being uncharacteristically quiet on the subject of its newest member (can we get a name, please?), but that doesn't mean the entire Twitterverse isn't talking about it!
Following Kim's unexpected delivery of her baby girl on Saturday, proud grandma Kris Jenner tweeted out a Father's Day greeting to her daughter's baby daddy, Kanye West. Later, Kris was spotted at Sunday's Daytime Emmy Awards red carpet, where she told E! Online, "We're happy, everybody's good and she's beautiful." She promised that more details on the baby would be released "soon."
Auntie Khloe Kardashian tweeted, "I can not even begin 2describe the miracle that is now a part of our family. Mommy/baby are healthy &resting. We appreciate all of the love…More info will come when the time is right! Thank you all for understanding! We love you all dearly! Overwhelmed with love right now."
Of course, in addition to the well wishes from family and friends, comedians are having a field day with the news of the latest Kardashian baby.
"The Office" star Rainn Wilson tweeted: "Good news. Kim Kardashian's placenta is getting its own reality show. 'Putting Up With the Placentas! (Beverly Hills).'"
Lisa Lampanelli joked, "I'll be on Adam Carolla's podcast Mon10pPST/7pEST. We'll be bidding on pics of Kim Kardashian's afterbirth so tune in!"
Comedian Patton Oswalt ("The King of Queens") sent out this status: "I'm assuming Kim Kardashian had her baby, if only because Gregory Peck just walked by me carrying the 7 Daggers of Megiddo."
The humor account for the Dark Lord Voldemort tweeted, "Kim Kardashian had her baby. No word on which 'K' name she gave it but I'm hoping for 'Kreacher.'"
And what is surely a Photoshop fake out, a hilarious tweet -- supposedly posted by Taylor Swift -- is going viral. The tweet, a clear spoof on Kanye's infamous Video Music Awards stage invasion, says: "@KimKardashian @kanyewest Yo I'm happy for you and imma let you finish but Beyonce had one of the best labors of all time."
The post can't be found on Swift's Twitter feed, though, so let's chalk this one up to some Twitter trickery.
