LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- As Carrie Prejean continued to insist for the third time in as many days that she was dethroned due to her answer over gay marriage at April's Miss USA pageant, new details have emerged supporting the Miss California USA Organization's claims that she lost her crown over contractual issues.

On Wednesday, when news broke that Prejean was being dethroned, the Executive Director of the Miss California USA Organization, Keith Lewis, issued a statement explaining she was stripped of her title due to, "contract violations including Ms. Prejean's unwillingness to make appearances on behalf of the Miss California USA organization."

On Friday afternoon, Lewis issued a statement to Access Hollywood in which he claimed that Prejean was offered "53 appearances in writing," but "she was available for one and was either unwilling or unavailable for all the others."

The lone appearance Prejean agreed to was for a jewelry show in Las Vegas, for which she was paid several thousand dollars a source told Access.

At the request of Access, the Miss California Organization provided a list of several appearances Prejean was presented with and turned down since the May media event with Trump. Among the opportunities the pageant claims Prejean turned down include:

  • An appearance on "Larry King Live" at an undisclosed date
  • A contestant seminar on May 21
  • The Change the World Humanitarian Awards Gala on May 31
  • A gala to honor Norman Lear on June 1
  • The Art4Life 3 benefiting the American Cancer Society on June 1
  • Step Up Women's Network 2009 Inspiration Awards Luncheon on June 5
  • The Oceanside Freedom Days Parade on June 27

During an interview with NBC's "Today" show on Friday, Matt Lauer read Prejean comments from Lewis, in which the pageant head said there were "tens and tens and tens of appearances that she was not available for."

But when addressing Lewis' statement during the "Today" interview, Prejean actually replied using the word "missed" regarding the appearances she did not attend, not the word "available," (Lewis' word).

"Did he give you specific appearances that I have missed, scheduled appearances that I have missed Matt?" Prejean said.

"No he did not talk about that," Lauer responded.

"Well, what are those tens and tens and tens of appearances because I'd really love to know. Since the press conference, it's only been one month, I mean how many experiences can I do in one month?"

Prejean has continued to criticize Lewis since her firing, specifically questioning him passing on an offer to her from Playboy.

"He offered me a Playboy job," Prejean told Billy Bush for Access Hollywood and "The Billy Bush Show" on Wednesday, something she also told TMZ and "The Sean Hannity Show."

"He says, 'I have two requests, one is 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.' He gave the rate and everything, and the other one was Playboy. I mean, why is my director giving me Playboy jobs. Why?... He said, 'It's $140,000 let me know if you want to do it.'... I couldn't believe it. This is the type of person that we're dealing with."

But on Wednesday evening, Lewis told Access that it was Prejean herself who insisted she see all offers that came in.

"We passed the information over as she herself instructed us in writing to do," Lewis said. "She said, 'Do not, do not censor me. Pass everything into me. Don't reject anything. I want to know everything I'm offered.' We followed her written directive."

A rep for Prejean was not immediately available for comment when contacted by Access Hollywood.
