NEW YORK, New York -- Mischa Barton's "The Beautiful Life: TBL" may be over, but the star said she's already looking at new projects following the cancellation of The CW freshman series.
"There's a bunch of projects I always wanted to make, so I'm going back to thinking about things again," she told the New York Post. "I just started looking at films."

And the star, who had a much-discussed breakdown and hospitalization in LA before she packed up her bags for the New York-based show, plans on sticking with the Big Apple.
"I grew up in the city, so there's a lot to love about it," she said. "All my close friends are here. I feel it's a fun city to lay low in and you get treated right."

"The Beautiful Life: TBL" lasted only two episodes, the first of the fall season's big debuts to come under the axe.
Mischa formerly starred on FOX's "The O.C." for three seasons as the troubled Marissa Cooper.
