Miranda Lambert Takes Aim at Chris Brown - Other Stars Who Aren't Pleased the Attention Brown is Getting

Miranda Lambert takes aim at Chris Brown.

There's a heated battle going on between Chris Brown and Miranda Lambert and it's getting ugly. It all started when the "Turn Up the Music" singer performed twice at the Grammy Awards on February 12 just three years after he assaulted his then-girlfriend Rihanna. While at the Grammys, Miranda tweeted " How dang long did they give Nicki Minaj to do whatever that was? Strange. And Chris Brown twice? I don't get it. He beat on a girl..." followed bytweeting "Not cool that we act like that didn't happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys."

On February 16, the country singer then took the battle to the stage during her concert in Massachusetts. She held up a neon green poster that read "Take Notes Chris Brown" and said "Listen, I just need to speak my mind. Where I come from, beating up on a women is never OK" then followed that up by singing "Gunpowder and Lead." She's not the only celeb who wasn't too thrilled that he performed at the Grammys and walked away with the Grammy for Best R&B album.

    CM Punk

Unless you're a fan of WWE Wrestling, you may have never heard of him - until now. The latest twitter war started when CM tweeted " I would like @ chrisbrown fight somebody that can defend themselves. Me curb stomping that turd would be a # wrestlemania moment . " Brown responded with a tweet that said "@CMpunk needs more followers. He's such a leader" followed by "Not to mention the roids hes on has made it utterly impossible for him pleasure a women." The comments have since been removed from his account. The two have been going back and forth about each other with no sign of slowing down anytime soon.

    Michelle Branch

On February 12, the singer/songwriter tweeted " Trying not to go off on a rant but...Chris Brown...*bites tongue* have we forgiven him? # Grammys " One can guess that many were biting their tongue that night trying to keep their comments to themselves.

    Matt Nathanson

While watching the Grammys, the "Come on Get Higher" singer tweeted "D id chris brown just sing 'put your hands up?' if he did i assume he means in the defensive position. # douche # grammys "

    Jack Osbourne

The son of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne tweeted "If Chris Brown had worn a wife beater, the irony would eclipse the whole show. # chrisbrownbeatswomen ." Wonder how many other celebs were thinking the same thing?

In response to all the backlash, Chris posted a tweet on February 14 that said "HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That's the ultimate F*** OFF!" Many of his tweets have since been deleted.

Do you think he should have been allowed to perform at the Grammys and walk away with an award?

He should have ended up in prison. The fact that he was given little more than a slap on the wrist is an injustice. There are so many teenage girls who look up to Rihanna and Chris Brown, see that relationship, and they think it's okay for a guy to beat up on a woman. It's to the point where they are starting to romanticize it. No, he shouldn't be winning Grammy's or preforming. He should be serving time and getting psychological help as it is pretty clear from his actions that he has some issues that need to be worked out.

Who in the hell is Miranda Lambert and who gives HER the right to judge people?! Sounds like someone is a little jealous...

if i remember correctly this incident happened couple of years ago, am sure Chris brown is still suffering from his actions because he was publicly humiliated and it is a stigma that will never ever go away. what happened to second chances in life, why are we as individuals quick to writing others off, everyone makes mistakes that's why pencils have erasers. Enough already, he without a sin cast the first stone that's all i am saying. he hit a girl, God has forgiven him why we can't we all let it go?

So, I guess in Miranda's world it is bad to hit a woman and she will not support your grammy appearance unless she is asked to introduce you like she did for Glen Campbell.

miranda sounds jealous. i heard they were gonna ask her to perform but there wouldnt have been enough room for her, and her forehead on the same stage... they could have used her forhead as the stage... but the one at the grammy's wasnt large enough. Also miranda a decent amount of people have to like your music, i guess it makes her look even worse that a man who can beat a woman still has more of a following then she does.l guess they like his music more than hers. sour #$%$

This animal will disappear for good within 5 years. Remember the thing that called itself Lil Jon? Who's looking for him now? Other than the tax man I'm sure.
