There's a heated battle going on between Chris Brown and Miranda Lambert and it's getting ugly. It all started when the "Turn Up the Music" singer performed twice at the Grammy Awards on February 12 just three years after he assaulted his then-girlfriend Rihanna. While at the Grammys, Miranda tweeted " How dang long did they give Nicki Minaj to do whatever that was? Strange. And Chris Brown twice? I don't get it. He beat on a girl..." followed bytweeting "Not cool that we act like that didn't happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys."
On February 16, the country singer then took the battle to the stage during her concert in Massachusetts. She held up a neon green poster that read "Take Notes Chris Brown" and said "Listen, I just need to speak my mind. Where I come from, beating up on a women is never OK" then followed that up by singing "Gunpowder and Lead." She's not the only celeb who wasn't too thrilled that he performed at the Grammys and walked away with the Grammy for Best R&B album.
CM Punk
Unless you're a fan of WWE Wrestling, you may have never heard of him - until now. The latest twitter war started when CM tweeted " I would like @ chrisbrown fight somebody that can defend themselves. Me curb stomping that turd would be a # wrestlemania moment . " Brown responded with a tweet that said "@CMpunk needs more followers. He's such a leader" followed by "Not to mention the roids hes on has made it utterly impossible for him pleasure a women." The comments have since been removed from his account. The two have been going back and forth about each other with no sign of slowing down anytime soon.
Michelle Branch
On February 12, the singer/songwriter tweeted " Trying not to go off on a rant but...Chris Brown...*bites tongue* have we forgiven him? # Grammys " One can guess that many were biting their tongue that night trying to keep their comments to themselves.
Matt Nathanson
While watching the Grammys, the "Come on Get Higher" singer tweeted "D id chris brown just sing 'put your hands up?' if he did i assume he means in the defensive position. # douche # grammys "
Jack Osbourne
The son of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne tweeted "If Chris Brown had worn a wife beater, the irony would eclipse the whole show. # chrisbrownbeatswomen ." Wonder how many other celebs were thinking the same thing?
In response to all the backlash, Chris posted a tweet on February 14 that said "HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That's the ultimate F*** OFF!" Many of his tweets have since been deleted.
Do you think he should have been allowed to perform at the Grammys and walk away with an award?
