Miley & Stars Celebrate Her Sweet 16 At Disneyland

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Miley Cyrus celebrated her Sweet 16 birthday at Disneyland with 5,000 of her fans and a slew of celebrities that included David Archuleta, Tyra Banks and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Though the "Hannah Montana" star doesn't turn 16 until Nov. 23, she celebrated the event early on Sunday at the Happiest Place on Earth. Tickets to Miley's birthday cost $250, with the proceeds going to the Youth Service America charity.

Miley told Access Hollywood that she was happy to be celebrating with "all the amazing kids that have been volunteering throughout the years with YSA. They're amazing children and they really have been so inspiring and they were so great to me this afternoon, we got to ride some rides together so it's been a wonderful event."

And what was Miley looking forward to most during her party?

"Riding rides, duh! Celebrating with my friends. It'll be so much fun," she told Access.

As for other birthday gifts, the tween star said she was more than happy with the giant Disney celebration.

"My parents shut down Disneyland for me, so I'm good for a while," Cyrus told the Associated Press.

Miley's dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, said his daughter wasn't the only one celebrating on Sunday.

"It's odd how many people are celebrating their birthdays tonight. As I come through the autograph line there, there's so many kids they tell me when their birthday is and it's just a celebration of life -- that's what tonight is, being here at Disneyland is the ultimate," he told Access.

Popular Disney attractions like Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean were open for partygoers to enjoy.

Miley also treated her fans to a four-song performance that included "Breakout" and "G.N.O."

But the Disney day wasn't the only gift the tween queen received -- Miley also received a new dog from her parents. The dog, a Maltipoo, is a cross between a Maltese and a poodle - is named Sophie, said the rep, after a dog owned by her late grandfather, according to People.

Tyra Banks, who attended the celebration, said Miley is the type of girl who could handle such a big celebration.

"I think it is absolutely amazing and it's for the most beautiful, perfect little girl because she can handle this, she's so level headed, she's so grounded, she's so pure and sweet. She can handle all this," Tyra told Access. "I don't know if most 16-year-olds can handle this. They be like, 'I want it now, I want them to give me Disneyland daddy.' But she's not that at all."

The night ended with a fireworks show over Sleeping Beauty's castle.

Other celeb guests included Jennie Garth and her family, Steve Carell, Cindy Crawford and Miley's friend Justin Gaston, who reportedly joined Billy Ray on stage for a performance of "Achy Breaky Heart."
