Miley Cyrus is engaged! Her longtime boyfriend, "The Hunger Games" star Liam Hemsworth proposed to the Pilates-loving actress with a 3.5-carat rock from jeweler Neil Lane.
"Life is beautiful," she tweeted when the news broke. "I love you more today than yesterday but I love you less today than I will tomorrow…."
The problem? She's only 19 and the Australian Hemsworth is 22 - babies as far as we're concerned. We want to feel happy for them, but Hollywood marriages don't really last - and young Hollywood marriages really don't last.

Britney Spears was only 22 when she married backup dancer Kevin Federline in September 2004. The nuptials were marked with a lot of "ohh babies" and "I love yous," according to People.
"I'm just kind of happy that we pulled off the whole thing," she added to the magazine. They later had two children and divorced in November 2006. Spears later went on her high-publicized meltdown and comeback. Now 31, she's a judge on "The X Factor" and engaged to her agent, Jason Trawick.
Singer Ashlee Simpson, then 23, married FallOut Boy guitarist Pete Wentz in a May 2006 "Alice in Wonderland"-themed wedding. The bridge wore a custom Monique Lhullier gown while Wentz wore a tux from Dior Homme. They later had a son together, Bronx Mowgli, before divorcing in 2011.
Simpson is now dating "Boardwalk Empire" actor Vincent Piazza and seems to have a positive co-parenting relationship with her ex-husband.
Jessica Simpson was only 23 when she married former 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey in 2003. The couple later took their newborn marriage to reality television in the ultra-popular MTV reality show "Newlyweds." The couple divorced in 2005 after rumors of Simpson's infidelity surfaced - she was rumored to have cheated on Lachey with everyone from Johnny Knoxville to Adam Levine.
Simpson later dated John Mayer and other stars before getting engaged to former NFL player Eric Johnson last year. She gave birth to daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson in May, while Lachey is now expecting a child with his new wife, Vanessa Minnillo, later this year.
Actress Hilary Duff is actually still married to her husband, NHL player Mike Comrie. The couple wed in 2010 when Duff was 22 and Comrie was 29.
"It was one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever seen," a guest told US Weekly at the time. "Absolutely stunning. They thought of every last detail and it was an incredible sight."
The couple welcomed first child Luca Cruz Comrie earlier this year - and Duff loves being a mom!
"What is to come is such an amazing journey, and a lot of work," she told Ellen DeGeneres in May. "It's just like the best thing that's ever happened to you."
