LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- On "Hannah Montana," Miley Cyrus has had her real-life dad, Billy Ray, to play her father - but she'll have some new parents in her next movie, "The Last Song."
Greg Kinnear and Kelly Preston have been cast as the parents of Miley's rebellious teen character, Variety reported.

The film is being adapted from a forthcoming Nicholas Sparks ("The Notebook") novel that the author himself is scripting specifically for Miley.
Miley already seems to be enjoying her time on the set, Tweeting on Monday about co-star Liam Hemsworth, "We have a kissing scene on the beach today :) im just working :) not a bad job huh?"

The young star, who made her big-screen debut earlier this year in "Hannah Montana: The Movie" and voiced a character in animated film "Bolt" last year, will also spend a fourth season for the Disney Channel as Hannah, Billy Ray confirmed to Access Hollywood last week.
