Miley Cyrus Does Better Than the Jonas Brothers at Box Office

Despite a few surprise weekend appearances by the boy band at movie theaters across the nation, the Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience came in at No. 2, with an estimated $12.7 million.

The studio anticipated $15 million, with other industry experts predicting
$25 million.
(In comparison, Hannah Montana/ Miley Cyrus : Best of Both Worlds -- which opened a year ago -- took in $31.1 million its first weekend and went on to gross $65.3 million.)

Tyler Perry 's Madea Goes to Jail held the No. 1 slot, with $16.5 million, taking its 10-day total to $64.9 million.
After nabbing eight Oscars, Slumdog Millionaire jumped two spots to No. 3, with $12.2 million.
Rounding out the top five: The thriller Taken, which earned $10 million for No. 4, and He's Just Not That Into You, which raked in $5.9 million.
