Mila Kunis is starring in "Oz: The Great and Powerful" as the Wicked Witch of the West. The "Black Swan" beauty described taking on the famous role as "incredibly scary." Mila stars along side James Franco and Michelle Williams in the upcoming film.
The "That 70s Show" alum has been in the headlines for spending time with old co-star Ashton Kutcher. The pair have been seen together on numerous occasions in recent days. The two spent a weekend-long getaway in a coastal California town. Although Kunis claims the two are not involved, saying "It's absurd. A friend is a friend," romance rumors continue to spread.
Mila is not the only Hollywood beauty to take on the role of a witch. The following actresses have also paired up with a broomstick for a role:
As Hermione, Emma played one of the brightest students at a school for witches and wizards. Although Emma once considered giving up acting, she has quite a few new projects in the works. She will next be seen in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" and is currently filming "The Bling Ring." In "Bling," Watson loses her good-girl persona; the actress will be showcasing a more risqué-side.
The "Sex and the City" star starred along side Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy as a sister trio of witches in "Hocus Pocus" in the early 1990s. In more recent work, SJP stepped in for troubled star Demi Moore in "Lovelace" as Gloria Steinem. The mother of three has also been promoting Turnaround Arts, a program by the Obama administration that uses art education in troubled schools.
Tilda perfectly portrayed the icy White Witch of Narnia. Although the character stays away from the traditional black attire of witches, Swinton was able to make her twice as fearsome in her extravagant, pale gown. The actress also made an impression in "We Need to Talk about Kevin." As the mom of a troubled boy, she was nominated for many awards this past year.
In "Practical Magic," Sandra plays a witch suffering from a love curse. Any man that a woman in her family loved would suffer an untimely death. Nicole Kidman played Bullock's sister. After a very public divorce and Oscar win for "The Blind Side," the private actress adopted a child and attempted to back away from the spotlight. Although "Gravity," her latest project, will be out sometime this year, most of the media attention on the actress now focuses on her son Louis.
