LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Mickey Rourke will star in a remake of the 1986 gangster film, "Mona Lisa," Variety reported.

The "Wrestler" actor will play an ex-con who serves as chauffeur for a high-class escort, a role Eva Green is reportedly in talks for.

Mickey is currently filming "Iron Man 2" and has a number of other projects in the works, including Sylvester Stone's "The Expendables."

He became an awards season darling earlier this year after a long break from Hollywood thanks to his starring performance as Randy "The Ram" Robinson in "The Wrestler," a role that notched him a Golden Globe and an Oscar nomination for Best Actor.

I love Mickey and I think that Joel(loser)nobody from "The Soup" will get his just deserve when Mickey gets ahold of him. He made jokes about Mickey's little dog "Loki" that died a few months back on his stupid show. I never watch the show and now I know why, but I bet he messed with the wrong guy this time. "Get em Mickey!"

Uh oh, look out Mickey is back on the scene about to make some big bucks. Lets hope he really has learned his lesson and doesn't squander the money and continues to take the roles that are offered him.
