Michelle Obama will promote gardening on the 40th anniversary season of Sesame Street, show producers announced Tuesday.

The First Lady will teach the residents about eating healthy on the Nov. 10 premiere. She'll plant tomato, cucumber and lettuce seeds on the classic kids show.

"All these seeds need to grow are sun, soil and water. If you eat these healthy foods, you're going to grow up to be big and strong, like me," Obama says. "I know you're going to like these vegetables, because in addition to being healthy, they really taste great!"

Obama planted the first garden at the White House since World War II. The 50 fruits and vegetables she grows are used in the White House kitchen.

Cameron Diaz, Eva Longoria Parker, The Invention of Lying star Ricky Gervais and Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant will also make guest appearances this season.

I can read between the lines. It's sad that after 100 years America is still full of racist people who don't want to have a Black President. This has nothing to do with the job that he's doing. He could have came is office and gave us all a billion dollars and there would still be some racist %@!*#s talking crap.

Who are you to be talking about anybody. What are you doing to give hope to our children? The only thing that the republican party can talk about it WAR. They give their kids guns at the age of 5 and tell them that they are going to protect our country. I guess that's what they want Michelle to go on Seseme street to talk to the children about.

If you look up Anti Christ there would be a picture of the Bush family sitting there. So what Laura Bush would be seen reading to childeren no one talked about her for doing that. So why is it such a crime for Michelle to plant a garden with our kids. We need something positive to take our minds off of all the bad stuff. Gigi: Your the one with no class.
