Michelle Obama has worked up an appetite!
Look back on the Obama's 100 days in Washington. The first lady and a group of 20 staff members and friends had lunch at Good Stuff Eatery -- owned by
Top Chef alumni Spike Mendelsohn -- on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., Friday.
The group dined on a variety of burgers and turkey burgers as well as french fries and the restaurants signature hand-spun toasted marshmallow shakes.
Take a look at the Obama family album."She was smiling and making jokes the entire time," a source tells Usmagazine.com. "It looked like the best ladies lunch ever. Everyone was sharing fries and trying each other's burgers and shakes."
The table even had a few aptly named "Obama Burgers," which is a fresh, farmhouse burger topped with bacon, blue cheese, Mendelsohn's homemade onion marmalade and a horseradish mayo.
See other ways the Obama family is just like Us."This was the best honor of my life," Mendelsohn -- who recently won best burger in the country at the South Beach Food and Wine Festival's Burger Bash -- tells Us. "I absolutely love
Michelle Obama and love the family. Now we just need the president. Hopefully he'll follow her lead and come visit Good Stuff. Women know best, Mr. President!"
Barack Obama has a taste for burgers, too. He and Vice President Joe Biden lunched at local favorite Ray's Hell Burger in Virginia earlier this week.
