Paris and Prince Michael Jackson join their dad's backing singers and other children to perform 'We Are The World' at the King of Pop's memorial service at the Staples Center in LA on July 7, 2009 AEGAccess Hollywood
LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Michael Jackson's backing singers and dancers from what were to be his upcoming concerts in London took the stage at his Staples Center memorial for a stirring rendition of "We Are The World," the late King of Pop's charity anthem on Tuesday.
The singers, who had been in rehearsals with Michael at the venue in the days preceding his death on June 25, were joined on the stage by a number of children, including Michael's own children - Prince Michael I, Paris, and Prince Michael II, known as Blanket, who sang along.

The singers then segued into "Heal The World," as stars such as Brooke Shields, Magic Johnson, Usher, Kobe Bryant, Berry Gordy, Smokey Robinson, Shaheen Jarfargholi, and others who had presented or performed earlier in the service, took to the stage as well for a group performance. Michael's father, Joe Jackson, stood next to Rev. Al Sharpton and swayed back and forth to the music
