Michael Jackson was set to perform a duet with son
Prince, 12, during his upcoming sold-out London concerts, the singer's former publicist reveals in the
new issue of
Us Weekly (on newsstands now).
"He was planning on doing a short duet with his son,
Prince," Stuart Backerman tells
Us. "He knew his kids would enjoy it."

Michael Jackson mania," says Backerman of Jackson, who hadn't hit the stage since a series of 2001 tribute concerts in NYC.

Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and Blanket, 7 and "intentionally" omitted Debbie Rowe, the children's biological mother, from his will. (The new Us Weekly breaks the news that the children's biological father is Arnold Klein, Jackson's L.A.-based dermatologist and Rowe's former boss.) If Katherine died before him or couldn't serve as guardian, Jackson nominated
Diana Ross, according to his will.
