Etheridge, 47, and Michaels, 33, first exchanged vows in Malibu in 2003.

Now that gay marriage is legalized in California, the couple will make it official.

"We are so grateful for the blessings from our friends and family as we commence our vows, and begin the rest of our lives together," the pair, who exchanged platinum-and-diamond wedding bands, said in a statement at the time.

In 2006, they welcomed twins, a boy named Miller Steven and a girl named Johnnie Rose.

Etheridge already has two children from a previous relationship with Julie Cypher: daughter Bailey Jean and son Beckett. (Bailey Jean and Beckett were conceived via artificial insemination courtesy of friend and rock legend David Crosby.)

Etheridge, a breast cancer survivor, also told Extra how she broke the news to her children four years ago.

"They were there when I discussed the lump with Tammyand [we] said, 'Mama has a lump in her breast and this lump could be many things, but we need to check and see what it is because if it is a cold, it might spread to her whole body and be really bad for it,'" she said.

I respect Melissa for her extreme talent touching on emotional issues in her music and her book. Melissa & Tammy definitely deserve to have a full happy nuturing life with all their children involved. Sexuality does NOT stand in the way of pure love for each other! One of Melissa's lyrics say: I dont care what they think/I don't care what they say/ What do they know abou

Your own genitic material made every one who they are so shut up and deal with the fact that you have created gay and lesbian off spring. Stop judging and get over your self . Work on some positive things in life and leave us alone...

For those of you who want to preach to others and call yourself christians; How can you judge other people and tell them they are going to hell. Shame on all of you. I am not gay but, I support the fact that you should be able to love who you want and be happy. I support gays and lesbians and want everyone to be happy in life.

i think that if it makes someone happy to be with another person, whether it is the same sex, they should have the right, we all have the right to happiness. as long as it is a private relationship i dont care. life is short, let someone live a life they want live.

Who made gay marriage legal? Liberal calif. judges? Well I thought each of us had to vote on the issue, but the judges are changing the way we are supposed to live our lives. They, judges, failure to act on immigration put us in this mess to begin with now we are supposed to allow them to rule our lives. This is socialism at its worst, Let the people decide then sort out the details in court.

Before religion/s appeared, abortion and homosexuality werent as big issues as nowadays. Its 21 century and still we are in the Dark Age. Shame on the human race, blinded by religion. Hate as much as u can, hate is all u will be left with in the end. RELIGION ENSLAVED PPL and we're never gonna wake up coz we are comfortable with it, no matter we are all covered in %@!*#.
