Meghan McCain was annoyed Wanda Sykes mocked her mom, Cindy, at an afterparty for the White House Correspondents Dinner in D.C. this weekend.

"Sen. McCain gave you grief about the new helicopters you didn't order," Sykes joked during a roast at the Capitol File fete. "I think Mr. McCain was a little bitter because he wanted to be in the new helicopters. Mr. McCain, I'm sure if you ask nicely, your wife will buy you a new helicopter."

See photos of the McCain family on the campaign trail.

Snapped McCain, a blogger for The Daily Beast, to the New York Daily News: "I didn't like the joke about my mom [Cindy]. Why talk about her at all? I [didn't mind the jokes] about my dad, but leave my mom out of it. It really wasn't in good taste."

Check out pictures of stars goofing off.

McCain was spotted shaking her head vigorously after Sykes said: "Sarah Palin's not here. She pulled out at the last minute. Someone oughta tell her that's not how you practice abstinence."

(Her 18-year-old daughter, Bristol, is mother to five-month-old Tripp.)

See which stars had kids as teens.

The 24-year-old was also shocked about a joke Sykes directed toward President Barack Obama. "Omfg, wanda sykes just made a joke about obama's nipples...." she wrote on Twitter after the comic quipped about seeing photos of the president in his swim trunks.

Having a little more fun at the annual bash: Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, who spent about four minutes speaking with the president at the White House Correspondents Dinner. Obama was overheard saying, "You guys ought to come by the White House," a witness tells Usmagazine.com .

"Tom Cruise was grinning from ear to ear" after the conversation, the witness adds. "He said, 'This is a blast.'"

Sounds like a Republican is still bitter about getting the board snatched from them in the election What would John McCain be doing.. continuing the Bush Policies and letting rich america continue to rape this country of all of its natural resources, all while hiding their money in Swiss and Cayman accounts. Lets wake up. Obama and his Admin a good job of correcting old, outdated policies

I already have the countdown ready......He considers himself a hollywood celeb and not the President of the United States - what is he actually doing to protect the US, save our economy or make "change"??? His solution is

No one likes to hear ugly jokes told about their parents. I can understand Megan being upset with the joke, but like someone said previously, Wanda is a crude comedian and what else would you expect sitting in a room full of Libs? Sometimes you just have to suck it up and move on. I don't agree with some of the jokes she told, but what can you do?

Last time I checked the WHCA was a private organization made up of editorial writers on staff at newspapers and the like that interact with and cover White House events. The dinner is a fund-raiser for scholarships, etc. Obama did not put on the event. It is not a White House event. It's an event to raise money and poke fun at those in the government. Get over it.

I think if we had Rush Limbaugh say that he wished obama's kidney's would fail they would want him to resign. All you morons that love this idiot comedian would call it racism or hate. Cmon, where is the double standard. Look at the joke about Sarah Palin. It's disgusting. I hope Sykes gets what is coming to her.

I think the jokes were funny as heck. Wanda is a fool and I love her. If you can't stand the heat then stay out the Whitehouse.
