Traveling with an 8-month old? No big deal, says Matthew McConaughey .

"Levi is doing well, man. Five stamps on the passport," he says on the 500th episode of the Rachael Ray Show (airing Wednesday). "Check this out, perfect tank of gas before he wakes up and is ready to eat. So as soon as it gets below a quarter of a tank and I gotta pull off to get gas, Levi's waking up. So far so good. We're having a good time - he's an easy traveler."

McConaughey -- who just signed on star in the upcoming legal thriller The Lincoln Lawyer -- also dishes about what he'd do if he weren't an actor.

"I think I'd either want to coach a college program, football," he says. "Or go off and do like what Steve Irwin did. Or be a chef."

When it comes to food, "I really like to get everything in one bowl," he tells Ray.

"A lot of times we'll make a pasta, and we'll make a salad, and we'll make a meat dish," says the actor, who is dating model Camila Alves , the mother of his son. "We end up putting pasta on the bottom because of the heat and layer in the salad and the meat on top. I love merging like that."

I understand that marriage is seen as a commodity nowadays. But where are we receiving all those ideals from? From the media, TV, Actors. They are telling us that is OK to be a whore and look like one. That you can get divorced any time, any minute. That is wrong. Unfortunately, that is what aour kids are growing up with.

hey guys i was married unhappily and left. my kids and i were alone for almost 6yrs without me being married and we were happy! im now on my second marriage and things are better because i found happiness in myself first and not in a dead end marriage just for the kids. you should never marry or stay in an unhappy marriage just to raise a kid. my boys are now 10 and 6 and are happy and healthy!

This republican just wanted to say that we have been married 33 yrs, however most people today think of marriage as a disposible commodity! A real marriage takes hard hard work but it's also not for everyone. But those children involved by no choice of their own should be taught that marriage is the prefered way to go! Unless your selfish enough to have several babies by several different

The way people look at marriage these days is depressing to me. I happen to know many happily married people, myself included, and think that's the best environment for children to be raised in. Perhaps those of you who seem to think that all marriages are unhappy and end in divorce, and those of you who think that marriage is an outdated institution are just jaded, sad individuals.

Britt, that has got to be one of the dumbest comments. "Numbers can't be wrong" ? Why not? 2 isn't 6. No one should get married, make their child believe they are in a perfect life and ruin it with a divorce. I think children who live with two supportive parents in their life are much better than those with two parents who can't stand each other and tear a
