LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Matthew McConaughey and girlfriend Camila Alves welcomed their baby earlier today, and now the couple is revealing the name of their son.
The couple has named their baby Levi Alves McConaughey, OK! Magazine was the first to report.

"Levi was another name for the apostle Matthew in The Bible. They were, in fact, two names for the same person," Matthew told the mag.
The evening birth of Levi was also significant to the actor.

"Our son was born at 6:22 PM, and this particular time represents my favorite verse in the book of Matthew in The Bible: 'If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be full of light,'" Matthew added.
Wanting to incorporate girlfriend Camila's name, the couple used Alves as his middle name, he told the mag.

The proud parents released the following statement thanking fans and well-wishers:
"We welcome Levi Alves McConaughey into this wonderful life and look forward to living in it with him. In the mean time and all times, just keep livin'."

He calls his son a biblical name yet does the most UN-BIBLICAL thing by not even marrying her, yet he has sex w/her and lets her carry his child! Does anyone see how SICK and WRONG this is?
