Marlee Matlin Bids Adieu To The 'Dancing' Ballroom

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Marlee Matlin said goodbye to the ballroom on Tuesday night, as she and partner Fabian Sanchez were eliminated from "Dancing With the Stars."

"You know what? All I can say is thank you to the judges. I have the utmost respect for you and I want to thank the most magnificent Fabian for giving me the most beautiful art of dance in my life," Marlee signed as she learned the news.

Although she is hearing impaired, Marlee didn't let her disability stop her, battling her way week after week in the competition, and strutting her sexy frame with her enthusiastic partner, Fabian.

"I want to thank my family and my children for their support and love and lastly I want to thank Henry Winkler for all his support [over the years]," Marlee added. "I really want to thank the fans."

It was also bad news on Tuesday night for R&B star Mario and his partner Karina Smirnoff. Despite receiving the second highest scores on Monday evening, the couple landed in the bottom two.

The five remaining contestants will return to the dance floor next Monday.
