Mark Ruffalo dropped out of the dramatic feature film,
Greenburg, and will be replaced by
Ben Stiller.
It is unclear why Ruffalo -- whose brother, Scott Ruffalo,
passed away late Monday from a self-inflicted gun shot
wound to the head -- backed out of the project.
Amy Adams was also set to star opposite Ruffalo, but she is said to
have fallen off as well. Talks are being held with a number of
other actresses.

The film, written and directed by Noah Baumbach and scheduled for
release in 2010, would mark a dramatic shift for Stiller. The
project is expected to focus on the intimacies of relationships in
a similar manner of other Baumbach films.
