SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Marissa Jaret Winokur is gearing up for her first Mother's Day and couldn't be happier.

The Tony Award winner and host of Oxygen's "Dance Your Ass Off" spent last Saturday at Sea World San Diego with her 10 month-old son, Zev, and husband, Judah Miller, where the family even got a behind-the-scenes look at some of the marine life.

"That was my big Mother's Day gift," the new mommy told Access Hollywood. "I said 'I want to go to Sea World,' so we went to Sea World."

But regarding the actual holiday on May 10, Marissa is hoping for another surprise from her husband.

"Oh he better have something up his sleeve," she joked. "I haven't given any hints but now I think maybe I should."

As for motherhood bringing her closer to her own mom, Marissa says "definitely!"

"My parents are coming out to visit me for my first Mother's Day... I can't believe now everything my mother went through," she said. "One hundred percent now I understand the trouble I was."
