Marcia Cross: Husband Is "Healthy and Doing Great"

Marcia Cross' husband Tom Mahoney is responding well to cancer treatment, the Desperate Housewives star tells Usmagazine.com.

"He is healthy, and he is doing great," Cross, 47, told Us at the Rock A Little, Feed A Lot benefit concert Tuesday.

Mahoney, who announced he was battling the disease in January, joined his wife at the event after spending the evening with 2-year-old fraternal twin daughters Eden and Savannah.

"He had to put the girls to bed first," Cross told Us of her stockbroker husband, whom she wed in 2006.

Cross says she's so busy with her family, she hasn't watched the Melrose Place spinoff. She starred on the '90s soap as Dr. Kimberly Shaw.

"I don't really get a chance to watch much TV at all," she told Us. "Maybe I'll TiVo it!"

She won't be returning to the CW show like Heather Locklear or Laura Leighton.

"I can barely get through my day now, let alone do another TV show!” she joked.

    I hope everything goes accordingly. I understand what you all r going through, I am celebrating my mothers life this October 2nd as it is her 1 yr anniversary of her death from Leiomyosarcoma. I hope his recovery is a smooth and healthy one and he is there to watch your daughters grow and become beautiful woman!!
