LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- DJ AM's ex-girlfriend Mandy Moore has spoken out about the death of the celebrity spinner, known legally as Adam Goldstein, after he was found dead on Friday at the age of 36.
"I am absolutely heartbroken," Mandy said in a statement to Access Hollywood.

"For those of us lucky enough to have known him, Adam radiated a contagious exuberance for life and also personified the very definition of a true friend," she continued. "To say that he will be missed beyond words is an understatement. My heart goes out to his loved ones."
Mandy and DJ AM dated for several months in 2007 before reportedly reconnecting romantically after the DJ survived a September 2008 plane crash that claimed four lives. However, shortly thereafter, the late DJ began dating model Hayley Wood, while Mandy became engaged to rocker Ryan Adams. They wed earlier this year, in March.
