Why can't Lindsay get her act together already? The "Mean Girls" actress can't stop interacting with the police these days, it seems. Police responded to a domestic dispute between Lindsay and her mother Dina early Wednesday morning at Dina's residence in New York.
The two women reportedly went out clubbing together until the early morning hours and became involved in an altercation during the car ride home. Lindsay allegedly told police she was being held against her will at her mother's house.
A rep for Lindsay wouldn't comment on the situation and police from Nassau County have yet to release any details other than it was a domestic violence call. Who knows what really went on but it's not surprising these two were fighting after a long night of drinking and dancing. How long until Lindsay has another run-in with the police?
Lindsay and Dina aren't the only mother-daughter pair in Hollywood that can't seem to get along. What other celebs fight with their parents?
Leighton might play the part of Blair, the snotty Upper East sider on "Gossip Girl" who's always in a petty fight but in real life she's had to fight much harder battles.
Last year Leighton sued her mother for irresponsibly using money Leighton had given to her on Botox injections, jewelry, and other items. The money given to her mother was supposed to go towards the healthcare of Leighton's sick brother. Leighton's mother countersued saying the TV actress owes her $10,000 a month for helping her jumpstart her Hollywood career and that Leighton had beaten her with a bottle before.
Drew Barrymore
The bubbly blonde star is known for her long career in Hollywood but this veteran actress has been on her own since she was 13. The star of '80s classics like "E.T." became emancipated from her mother after entering rehab.
Drew's mother, much like Lindsay, would party with her young daughter and allow Drew to drink and do drugs at Hollywood parties. Not exactly the best role model. We're glad Drew parted ways with her mother and became her own person.
Charice Pempengco
The singer who guest starred on "Glee" last year and was called "the most talented singer in the world" by Oprah dealt with the devastating loss of her father after he was murdered in the Philippines.
Charice released a statement that revealed the singer had been estranged from her father for many years, although she was extremely saddened to hear of his death and had hoped to reconcile with him eventually.
