The feud between Levi Johnston and Sarah Palin is heating up.

On CBS' The Early Show Wednesday, Johnston, 19, said the Palin family lied when they denied his previous claims that he lived with Bristol, 18, at their home. (He told Tyra Banks last week that Palin also probably knew he was sleeping with her daughter.)

"They said I didn't live there," Johnston said. "[They say] I 'stayed there.' I was like, 'OK, whatever you want to call it' -- I had all my stuff there. So, if you wanna call it 'staying there,' that's fine."

Asked if he stayed there every night, he said, "For awhile, yeah. So..."

"So, they're lying," reporter Maggie Rodriguez replied.

Said Johnston, "Yeah."

Relations weren't always so frosty, Johnston said.

When he was with Bristol, Johnston said the Alaska Gov. "was great. She treated me like a mom. I would look at her like a second mom. I think she'd do anything for me, at the time. And now, I don't know."

Things soured after Tripp was born in December and Palin returned to Alaska after losing the election.

"I can go over there whenever I want and see my baby," Levi said. "But, nine-times-out-of-ten, I'm not allowed to take him, and it's not as comfortable going over there anymore with that family sitting down on the couch. It's awkward. I don't know. They just, like, they don't think of me the same way anymore."

Added Johnston, "I don't wanna go over there every day and sit there when her family's there and try and play with my baby. I want to be able to take him and do what -- our own thing with my family."

The Palin family has accused Johnston of speaking out now for "fame, attention and fortune."

But he said, We're not cashing in on their name, you know. I'm just trying to get my side of the story out there and letting people know who I am."

Asked what the biggest misconception about him is, Johnston said, "Probably that my family's white trash."

    She's alot prettier than MO could ever hope to be. At least this is one family that won't be on food stamps, and welfare. Couldn't say the same about others. Hope Levi doesn't receive any money or attention. Everyone cashing in on Palin. Sickening.

    Levi, Go and be a part of your child's life. If they want to hate you, you can't do anything about that. But to run away and say I don't want to play with my son when they are around tells me you don't want anything to do with him.     okay, so if you listen to levi johnstons interviews he contradicts himself. in the tyra he said he was staying only a few days before the baby was born and in goodmorning america he said he was there for a long time. Hmm.. which one is lying? and what about levis mom a convicted drug dealer and the sister is a partyer. who would want their kid around that? no one.
