LeAnn Rimes is seeking help for anxiety not just because she feels she’s been cyber-bullied on Twitter, but also due to her fear that her husband Eddie Cibrian – with whom she cheated on her first husband, Dean Sheremet, in 2009 – has been stepping out on her as well.Your cheatin’ heart will make you weep … or send you into a treatment facility.
"LeAnn has had major insecurity issues since she first got together with Eddie," a friend tells Us Weekly. "She's been stressed about always being called a home-wrecker and also worried that Eddie is cheating on her. She's been on a downward spiral."
After the country singer checked into an outpatient facility just one day after her 30th birthday on August 28, it was reported that Cibrian’s wandering eye had something to do with his wife’s breakdown. “LeAnn called a friend of hers a few weeks ago sobbing hysterically about Eddie going out,” a source close to her told Radar Online. “She was home for the weekend and he didn’t stay in with her and she was crying saying that she was so worried about what he was doing when he wasn’t with her.”
Rimes claims online supporters of Cibrian’s ex-wife,
“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville, are to blame for her
anxiety and stress that sent her into a 30-day program. On August 30, she filed
a lawsuit against a California teacher she claims recorded a recent
conversation in which Rimes called up the complete stranger (who is on Team Glanville)
and yelled at her for tweeting disparaging things about her. "Hey b****,
this is LeAnn. You have five minutes to say whatever you want to me,” Kimberly
Smiley says Rimes told her during the brief-yet-profane call the singer made
while treating some of her Twitter followers to lunch in early August. (Yes,
Rimes was dining with some of her devoted Twitter fans.) “LeAnn called me
because she believed that telling me her side, would change my mind,"
Smile notes. “I was also surprised that she thought I'd just change my mind
about her and want to come hang with her!”
