Larry Rudolph On Meeting With Spears: 'Britney's Doing Great'

By Access HollywoodApril 11, 2008, 4:19 pm PDT

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Britney Spears' former manager, Larry Rudolph, has branded the pop star "the world's greatest entertainer" and said fans should be prepared for an amazing comeback.

"The public, for a while, was throwing darts at her," Rudolph, who has met with Spears in recent weeks, said on a video clip on his MySpace Celebrity Blog. "She was like that red dart in the center of the dartboard, just getting hit, and I think that the tide turned and people started to understand a little bit more of what's really going on there and they started to feel for her."

Rudolph said now that the public has a better grasp about the situation with the "…Baby One More Time" singer, people "are on her side."

"I think everybody's rooting for her," he said in the clip. "Everybody understands what she's been through, everybody wants to see her get through it and everybody wants to see Britney back. They want to see her on stage, they want to see videos, they want to see her entertain people 'cause there's really nobody out there entertaining people the way she did. She is the world's greatest entertainer. And when she comes back I think it's going to be huge."

And Rudolph is in a good place to make such predictions. Rudolph is currently serving as executive producer and celebrity judge on MTV's "Rock the Cradle," and he has represented stars including Brit, Nick Lachey, The Backstreet Boys and Jessica Simpson.

In his blog post, Rudolph said he recently spent several visits with Britney and said she is doing well.

"Britney's doing great. I've seen her probably about three or four times over the past couple of weeks and she's in great shape, really great shape. I see huge improvements for her," he said.

Rudolph said he has not been talking business with the superstar, instead, old times and her recovery.

"She's looking to sort of take baby steps and get where she needs to go," he said. "She's exercising, she's eating right, she's doing great things… I think she's really well on the road to getting back to the Britney everybody knows and loves."

What a bunch of losers. You all need to find a real person to love. Someone who lives next door to you maybe. Some really poor child who needs you. It would probably be to real for most of you to care for a real breathing person now wouldn't it.

if she gets huge again, in fame, I am going to remember to think of her as a person, not a star. she is just a woman who can sing and dance and needs to be appreciated for who she is. just like everybody, every homeless, every family member, has a melt down if you can't let people know who you are because you have live up to other people's silly expectations to be loved. love ya
