THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (AP) — Actress Heather Locklear has been released from a Los Angeles-area hospital after being treated for an unknown ailment.

Los Robles Hospital spokeswoman Kris Carraway-Bowman told the Associated Press that she was discharged around 5 p.m. Friday.

The hospital said earlier that Locklear was medically stable and being cared for in an intensive care unit.

The 50-year-old "Melrose Place" actress was taken to the hospital in Thousand Oaks from her home in Westlake Village, 35 miles northwest of Los Angeles, on Thursday.

Locklear has been hospitalized several times over the years. In 2009, she pleaded no contest to reckless driving after being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of prescription medication.

Locklear also starred in such TV series as "Dynasty" and "T.J. Hooker."

If you want to comment on an actress distorting her features with collagen, comment on that clown Tylo Swift who plays Taylor in a soap opera. If her lips get any bigger, she'll trip over them. She's done so much to her face that she can hardly make a real facial expression.

Poor woman; money and fame are no compensation for having good, loyal friends. The jealous, resentful comments here reflect badly on the pathetic commentors, and not on her.

Didn't she get hepatitus C from her onetime rock star husband, and doesn't she need a liver transplant ?

Unknown ailment? Seriously...when OMG printed its first article about her they said she overdosed on meds...now its unknown. Yeah, okay, whatever. Besides that ish...all the best to Heather. I hope she gets better.

Heather remember back at UCLA we would just take one bong hit and chill out at the dorm. That's all you need to do girl. One good hit at night and you'll sleep good. Wake up and go for a run and be productive during the day. No alcohol, no pills, just a little burn okay?
      Be good, Scott

She is part Lumbee Indian, so it's not shocking that she has a drinking problem. Bad plastic surgery, too much collagen injected in the lips, cocaine, Xanax, and booze just don't mix when you have American Indian ancestry. Still, she doesn't look that bad for 70.

Some of us have to worry about paying the mortgage every month, and don't have the luxury of being treated for 'unknown ailments' every time someone isn't nice to us.
