The Kardashian sisters haven't been making the best decisions lately. First their was that whole wedding fiasco by big sister Kim. Now it appears that little sister Kylie and Kendall Jenner may skip out on college to join their family lifestyle brand empire.
Despite the fact that the younger girls have always seemed to have good heads on their shoulders, it appears that they are being enticed by all the fabulous attention and wealth offered with being part of the reality tv powerhouse family. Who really needs a college education when you can join a burgeoning fashion empire?
"If they want to go to college, certainly, I think it's a good idea. But I'm not the advocate of, 'You've got to go to college!'" their dad Bruce Jenner tells US Weekly. "I think by the time they graduate from high school, they will probably be in a position to go right to working."
The girls have already gotten a head start on their competition with flourishing modeling careers and their own entrepreneurial endeavors in the works. Bruce added, "They're just developing their clothing line for Sears -- it's a little more teen-oriented, the clothing line. And they're working all the time on the show."
Whatever the girls decide, they have some inspiration to look to in their own family ranks. Some Kardashians have gone to college. Some have taken the road to success without a college degree. We've dug up the details on the various Kardashian family members' college experience:
Bruce Jenner: It was thanks to his time in college that the Olympian got hist start in the decathlon. He originally earned a football scholarship to play for Graceland College in Iowa. A knee injury sidelined the star athlete and he made the switch to the decathlon. He would go on to win the Olympic Gold in the event in 1976.
Kourtney Kardashian: The eldest sister of the family, the expectant mom has the book smarts of the girls. She spent two years attending Southeast Methodist University in Dallas, Texas before moving to Tucson, Arizona to finish her studies at the University of Arizona. She attained a degree in Theater Arts and a minor in Spanish.
Kim Kardashian: The middle Kardashian sister was the first to not earn a degree, but not without trying. She states that she attended college for four years before her failed marriage to music producer Damon Thomas, but dropped out before earning her degree.
Khloe Kardashian: The youngest Kardashian sister skipped the college experience altogether. After being quite a troublemaker in her teens, she decided to transfer out of high school to be home schooled. She was able to finish three ears of high school in a single year and ultimately graduated with honors.
Rob Kardashian: He showed off his moves on the dance floor on season 13 of "Dancing with the Stars", but the kid had some major moves in the classroom too. He graduated from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business in May 2009.
