Ahh, it seems like only yesterday when we used to tune into MTV to watch the faux-reality show "The Hills." In the last season Kristen Cavallari was kissing on Audrina Patridge's boytoy Justin Bobby and Heidi Montag and hubby Spencer Pratt we're only getting weirder and weirder. Times have changed and this cast is all grown up.
Kristen confirmed her pregnancy this week with on again off again fiance Jay Cutler and she's the first of "The Hills" ladies to have a bun in the oven. Aside from the baby news what is the cast of "The Hills" up to these days anyway?
Lauren Conrad
LC will always be dear in our hearts. We still sorta wish "The Hills" was on TV so we could get a glimpse into this blonde babe's life again.
Since leaving reality TV LC has been extremely busy between writing books and working on her fashion efforts. In 2012 Lauren will release her novel "The Fame Game," a book spin-off from her former "L.A. Candy" novels.
In early 2011 LC launched The Beauty Department, a beauty website offering tutorials and beauty tips.
Stephanie Pratt
Stephanie has publicly battled eating disorders and DUI charges but this week she was all smiles when she heard the baby news.
"I am so excited for Kristin!" she told Us Weekly. "They are going to be such a cute and fun family!"
Aside from the baby excitement Stephanie appears to be keeping pretty low key these days. On Twitter she raves about new boots she received at the Sundance film festival and tweets about other random news but she's failed to update her website since 2010. It looks like Stephanie may have taken a step outside of the limelight.
Heidi Montag
Heidi might be the saddest cast member of "The Hills." She and hubby Spencer Pratt announced they were broke after spending millions of dollars on ridiculous spending sprees that included several plastic surgeries for the blonde star. The couple was mocked endlessly for their weird behaviors. Who can forget Spencer's hideous flesh colored beard? In late 2011 Heidi said she would write a memoir of her life.
A source close to Heidi said, ""She'll talk about the control that Spencer exerted over her, which forced her to make bad decisions that ultimately got her kicked off The Hills. A big chunk of the book will be about how Heidi befriended Lauren and how devastated she was when she ended up dumping her as her BFF. Maybe something positive will come out of it. She's happy to have people read the full story and make up their own minds."
Will you read Heidi's life story?
